Call for Submissions: 10th Annual Stephen A. DiBiase Poetry Contest

Submissions open on November 15, 2024, with a deadline at 11:59 pm EST on January 15, 2025.

$500 for first place, $150 for second place, $75 for third place.  (The first-place prize is sponsored by a Hudson Valley Writers Guild grant.  Friends of the contest sponsor second and third place.)

The prize-winning and final poems will be listed and published on the contest website in April 2025. Finalists will be informed of their selection prior to the final judging, which takes place in February.

There are no entry fees.  By submitting you give your consent for publication on the website.

There is a one poem/one submission limit.  The poem must be in English.  Do not put your name on the poem.  We welcome submissions from anyone.  No restrictions as to length or subject.  However, if your poem is AI assisted, please let us know.  Previously published poems are accepted.
